C. elegans
The CDKN2A homolog was identified as trpa-1 in C. elegans using WormBase. The table at right shows phenotypes observed in C. elegans through RNAi experiements of trpa-1 as listed by WormBase.
WormBase has also compiled a list of phenotypes that have not be observed in trpa-1 RNAi experiements. The list of phenotypes that have not been observed is clearly more exhaustive than the list of phenotypes that have been observed. |
D. melanogaster
An extensive list of RNAi screens using the D. melanogaster homolog tankyrase were identified on FLIGHT. Please click here for the list.
M. musculus
The CDKN2A homolog in mice, Cdkn2a, was found using MGI. MGI states that null mutants of Cdkn2a have an increased susceptibility to tumors as well as an increased sensitivity to carcinogens. Many mouse cancer models have been used in association with this gene, including melanoma. Please click here for the Cdkn2a results page in MGI.
